On Sunday, June 28, immediately following our combined worship service, we invite every member of Arab First UMC to join us for our 2026 Midyear Review.
This gathering is more than a typical quarterly church council meeting. It is an opportunity for us to come together as a church family, celebrate the ministry God has already accomplished through us this year, and look ahead to the future He is calling us to embrace.
As part of this conversation, we will share an honest overview of our church's finances and ministry landscape. While we have experienced financial challenges this year, we believe that facing them together with transparency, faith, and a shared commitment to our mission will help us discern the best path forward.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you. What dreams do you have for Arab First UMC? What ministries excite and inspire you? Where do you see opportunities for growth, service, and impact in our community? Your voice is an important part of shaping the future of our congregation.
Together, we will review where we are today, celebrate what God is doing among us, and discuss the opportunities and decisions that lie ahead. These conversations belong to all of us, and we hope you will make plans to be part of them. Lunch will be provided.

Arab First UMC member Jack Bishop will spend the next 2 months serving through Campus Outreach at the 2026 Summer Beach Project in Panama City Beach, Florida. This year Jack is serving as a Team Leader and will be heading up small group studies. Prayers for Jack and everyone involved in this program.

Capital Campaign Update - As you can see, we have already
collected a significant amount towards our capital campaign. Now, it is time for us to finish strong so we can fully pay off the loan for our HVAC project and other projects. If we continue as we have so far, we are on track to put this behind us by the end of 2026. Thank you all for your generous support of Arab First UMC.

Summer Giving - The season of summer is here! The days are longer and filled with more sunshine, itineraries are filled with swimming opportunities, and many of us take advantage of no school to go on vacation. During the summer, we at Arab First UMC are still going strong with many things going on. That means something very important: we need your giving. There is a term that has become almost universal when it comes to church giving in the months of May-August: the summer slump. With many of us taking trips and seeing family, we may not be present at church as often, and often we forget to give. So, we ask, please do not forget about us! As you are able, please continue to contribute to the church. Below, you will find all of the different ways you can share your tithes and offerings with the church:
